A while back, I wrote a newsletter about lead magnets. Read it here.
30,000 foot view if you don't want to read the old newsletter:
A lead magnet is some digital resource that you offer in exchange for contact information.
Ex: You receive a 20% off coupon code when you sign up for Old Navy emails.
Please keep this in mind: Once you have someone's email, you should give it the utmost respect. If someone you've never met gives you their email, avoid sending them the signup for Thursday's potluck.
Have a separate email list for newbies and only send them things they would find relevant or valuable.
30 ideas for schools coming next week :)
Do you have a landing page for a VBS or summer camp? At the bottom of the page, say, "Sign up for email updates to receive ______ and $5 off your registration."
On your homepage, add a lead magnet to your email signup. Say, "Sign up for weekly updates and receive _____ in your inbox right away."
I made you a SOAP Method worksheet template. If you think your audience would enjoy this, slap your logo on it and give lead magnets a try yourself!

Translation: If your business has 1000 social media followers, 22 of them will see your post. As a personal account, your reach is between 20% and 50%. Think about times when you've posted an Instagram story and scrolled through the number of people who viewed it... Translation: If you have 1000 social media followers, 350 of them...
Here's a content idea for your weekly newsletter: Here's a little extra content for you to plug into the next few weeks of regular communication to your people. Maybe you can add it to a portion of your newsletter or send out a quick mass text for the next few weeks. This content shows people five ways to use your online presence to amplify their word-of-mouth outreach. This is education for your insiders, not your prospects—so make sure you properly filter any communications you send. Pay...
