A while back, I wrote a newsletter about lead magnets. Read it here.
30,000 foot view if you don't want to read the old newsletter:
A lead magnet is some digital resource that you offer in exchange for contact information.
Ex: You receive a 20% off coupon code when you sign up for Old Navy emails.
Please keep this in mind: Once you have someone's email, you should give it the utmost respect. If someone you've never met gives you their email, avoid sending them the signup for Thursday's potluck.
Have a separate email list for newbies and only send them things they would find relevant or valuable.
30 ideas for schools coming next week :)
Do you have a landing page for a VBS or summer camp? At the bottom of the page, say, "Sign up for email updates to receive ______ and $5 off your registration."
On your homepage, add a lead magnet to your email signup. Say, "Sign up for weekly updates and receive _____ in your inbox right away."
I made you a SOAP Method worksheet template. If you think your audience would enjoy this, slap your logo on it and give lead magnets a try yourself!

It's been a while since we went FULL nerd-mode. Today's the day, ladies & gentlemen. 🤓 This past week, I was asked a question: "Can you make the livestream button only show up on Sunday mornings?" Well, of course! Do I have any idea how to do that? No! Will I figure it out? Yes! And I did! Why do this? We wanted to make a BIG RED BUTTON show up on the homepage of the church's website so that a few older, home-bound members could easily find the link. BUT—we didn't really want this slightly...
